MEET THE REBEL GIRLS:

Alex Martinez, Founder + CEO

Alex is one who might be defined as a true “digital nomad,” living on three continents per year, and using the globe as her office space. After over five years working remotely as a freelancer, she decided it was time to open up her agency, to provide more equal opportunity for female entrepreneurs. She oversees all Rebel Creative partnerships, and in addition offers services such as writing SEO blog articles, web design, content creation, social media consulting, and lead generation. She loves challenging the business industry’s status quo by shifting traditionalist mindsets on working remotely. Taylor Graham, Paid Social Ad Specialist

Taylor is a Michigan native and your go to expert for all things social media. Whether it's paid or organic media management, Taylor can do it all. She typically works hands-on with small to medium sized beauty and wellness brands to implement consistent social media content and advertising strategies to grow their online presence and reach. Taylor has more than 4 years of experience (which includes agency-level experience working on Fortune 500 brands) managing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Snapchat and offers full service social media management, paid social advertising, and strategy consultations. In her free time, you can find Taylor online shopping with a face mask on and a glass of moscato in hand.

Gabi Viljoen, eCommerce + Amazon Manager

Gabi is our fierce South African-born turned digital nomad eCommerce guru. With over a decade as a world-ranked professional athlete, her competitive nature still thrives through her career as a thought-leader and strategist. Specializing in the global Amazon marketplace, Gabi has managed Amazon and eCommerce accounts from inception start-ups to 8-figure businesses. She offers full-scale consulting and account management, including but not limited to: branding, patent protection, operations, inventory management, marketing strategies, review generation, search page rankings, paid media advertising, and customer service.

Aisha Khan, Intern

Aisha grew up in Watsonville, CA surrounded by strawberry fields and has always been fueled by the pursuit of social justice. In 2019 she graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in political science and went on to work for a digital agency in DC and is now based in the Bay Area, CA doing Public Relations work focusing on Climate Change! She is passionate about the environment, mental health, racial justice, and how the digital space can make the world a less messed up place. For now she's focused on creating content, growing her digital marketing toolbox, and hoping for a better world.

Bri Reddick, Social Media Manager + Writer

Bri is a writer + branding specialist with a bachelors degree from Wake Forest University, where she studied communications and politics (as well as studied abroad in India). She has been published by The Nation Magazine and The Century Foundation, where she wrote about education and race. She currently operates her own website that is centered on the intersection of social justice and menstruation. Her services include writing, branding, period education and social media marketing.

Naquita Pastor, Lead SEO

Naquita is a vibrant South African born marketing professional ready to take over the Big Apple. She is an experienced certified digital marketer who is passionate about growing brands. She possesses a can-do attitude and always gets the job done, well. Her vast skill set makes her a full-stack marketer able to tackle digital and traditional marketing. She mixes strategy with creativity, ensuring all business goals and objectives are met and surpassed. No challenge is too big of a challenge for Naquita. Efficient and effective, that’s her. In her spare time, Naquita manages her churches website, explores her City, trains and runs races, and enjoys a G&T with her loved ones.

Maddie Olson, Lead Researcher + Writer

Supporting the research on rebels, Madeleine is a Ph.D. Candidate in History at The University of Texas at Austin, writing her dissertation on separatist Catholic movements and religious violence in Mexico. Splitting her time between Mexico, Texas, California, and Italy, she is both an academic and a board-certified personal trainer, combining her passions of history, exercise, food, wine, expanded learning as well as wellness. With her natural specialization in research and writing, Madeleine offers in-depth, thoughtful analysis into a variety of topics, with a grounding supported by academic rigor. In her personal time, you can find Madeleine training for her next half marathon or selecting the next bottle of wine to try.

Leyanna JB,

Intern + Event Planner

Leyanna lives to challenge the status-quo. Since receiving her BBA in Advertising and Promotion, she has slowly transitioned to the digital nomad lifestyle. Her passion for travel, marketing research, and the empowerment of black women are the focus of her brand. She enjoys working with small businesses seeking research on best approaches when launching or rebranding their digital marketing presence. This consists of (but is not limited to) social listening and audits, strategy planning, industry research, or target market research. In her spare time, you can find Leyanna curled up reading a new book with a platter of sushi not too far away enjoying that technology allowed her to bring her office entirely online.

Emily Jackson, Writer + Virtual Assistant

Emily is a virtual and PR assistant, writer, and editor. After completing her Masters in International Affairs, she completed an internship with the Smithsonian Institution and worked as a Social Media Marketing Specialist in Orlando. In 2019 and 2020, she moved to Lebanon for several months to work for a Georgetown Professor in Writing, Editing, and Research in Islamic Studies. She currently works in Virtual Assisting and PR, for which she has also assisted in copyediting a bestselling book on Amazon and designed and copy edited a companion workbook and training manuals. She is most passionate about migrant rights, reproductive rights, and environmental issues and, in her free time, she enjoys learning new languages, volunteering, and traveling.

Jenn Salomon, Intern + Marketing Consultant

Straight out of NY, Jenn has been a pioneer for women’s rugby in America over the last 8 years, as an athlete and coach. Currently, she coaches at the NCAA collegiate level and competes for New York Rugby Club and Team Mexico 7s. As a female athlete in a growing sport, she is constantly working to provide opportunities and gain more resources for women on various levels. She brings experience in event management and recruiting to Rebel. Fun fact, she competed in the 2019 Pan American Games!

Renne Romano, Head of Lead Generation

A New York native in Central Florida with a background in Psychology, Renne considers herself a lifelong learner. Specializing in Social Media Marketing and Web Design, she loves bringing creativity into digital branding and content curation. A love for her two dogs, and low impact ethical living are top of her list as well as helping others. Currently she focuses on starting environmental conversations through her social channels. Speaking both English + Spanish fluently, she loves helping others with their digital branding.

Kristen Soto, Blog Writer

Kristen primarily focuses on storytelling through Artist Brand Strategy, collaborating with other artists to test boundaries that have been placed on artistic entrepreneurship. After years of blending her academic psychosocial research with music, she decided to apply what she had learned into the modern digital spheres, through the attention of the masses within current social media platforms; thus taking her foundation of artistic technique and applying it to the creative contexts of digital media on the relation of the individual to society. Her services include brand strategy, social media marketing, copywriting, and blog writing. She is also the host of passionate curiosity podcast, and recently launched the Bloom Frequency Media Project.

Tiffany Green, Intern + Content Creator

Tiffany is a senior Philosophy and Religion student at Florida A&M University (a historically Black college in Tallahassee, Florida). Some of her passions include collecting--lowkey hoarding--Black women’s literature, writing about sexual repression, and EATING. You can find her articles written for us on the blog page.

Ana Snitco, Junior Intern

Moldavian student living in Poland, with a background in National Security. Ana speaks both Polish and Russian fluently, and is learning English and Spanish. She is currently building her portfolio up of social media content creation and business development projects. We’re excited to help her enter the world of digital marketing from overseas, and welcome her international + diverse perspective to content creation.

Ines Schubi, Marketing Strategist + Coach

Ines a French born globe trotteur that decided to tap in the power of online marketing to create her online business as a fitness and plant-based coach for digital nomad women (if that's you, definitely check out her IG @ines_schubi) and also helps small business grow and connect to their audience via social medias! Her creativity and vibrant energy will make any challenge achievable. She actually speaks fluently French, English and Spanish and a little bit of Chinese and after living on 4 different continents people can never know where she is from, but her love for bread and pain au chocolat always betray her.

Paola Sifuentes, Writer + Editor

Half time barista, half time reader, Paola specializes in content creation and editing. She has a BA in Spanish Lit, and has worked doing social media management, editorial design, copywriting and digital campaigns. Besides Spanish, speaks English fluently, and is trying to get better at French and German. Currently living in Mexico City, she’s always in search of new challenges by constantly trying to get out of her comfort zone. Loves making and drinking pour-over coffee, dancing salsa, realism in Latin American literature and telling the same stories over and over again. She identifies as a feminist in constant deconstruction.

Cathrine Cath, Front End Web Developer

Cathrine is our all around website guru, and not to mention a bad ass software developer. She is passionate about designing sites on Wordpress most of all. She is also up to date with her latest skills in coding languages, and is keen towards any media related work you need.
